Kids FREE Fishing Derby - Saturday, May 26th from 9 am – noon. Willow Springs Ponds, 430 Willow Springs Road, Fountain, CO 80817.  Kids, ages 15 and under, can fish free, catch a “big one”, and receive prizes at the Willow Springs Ponds in Fountain Creek Regional Park where everyone is a winner. You will learn the basics of fishing, cast for prizes, and catch fish. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Adult anglers need a fishing license. Old Colorado City Territory Days - Saturday, May 26th – Monday, May 28th from 10 am – 7 pm. (event runs only until 6 pm on Monday) Territory Days has grown from a small neighborhood craft fair into a three-day street festival which now hosts over 180 craft, commercial and food booths. Between 80,000 and 140,000 guests, (depending on the weather), enjoy this event every Memorial weekend.   FREE admission and music entertainment.  Other activities including pony rides, kids play area, petting zoo, mechanical bull, Cowboy Church Service, toy train rides, gold panning, wild west gunfight re-enactments, live blacksmithing, period costumed characters, live birds of prey, native American dancers, quick draw competition, and two beer gardens with live music running all three days.  Click HERE for promotional flyer.
